Brand History

Ice-Watch was founded by Belgian entrepreneur Jean-Pierre Lutgen at the end of 2006 and has been distributed on the world market since 2007. Ice-Watch watches proved incredibly popular and by 2012 they had become the UK's top fashion watch brand. With the construction of a 6,000 m2 European storage centre, in 2014, the local roots of Ice-Watch were further strengthened. In 2017, the Ice-Watch brand celebrated its 10th anniversary by inviting all its partners and collaborators to Bastogne, Belgium, to participate in a “Surreal dinner” organised by Belgian designer Charles Kaisin. The same year, Jean-Pierre Lutgen was elected Manager of the Year 2017 by Trends Tendances magazine. In 2020, Ice-Watch surprised again by launching its first solar-powered watch. Free as air, ICE solar power only draws its energy from light. Sustainable, clean, infinitely renewable energy!
