Limit Watches

Authorised retailer for Limit Watches. Limit watches has built up an enviable reputation for producing high quality timepieces which are made to last. There is no doubt that a Limit watch is a timepiece that you can rely on. Limit watches are produced for the entire family, with their collection including watches for men, women and children. The watches in the Limit collection are available at highly affordable prices, but don't think that the affordable price means a compromise in quality. Limit proudly announce that they have been producing watches since 1912 and their experience in watchmaking shines through in their timpieces, which are built on the principles of elegance, quality and tradition.

The History of Limit Watches

The story of Limit watches goes back to 1884 when Alfred Hirst established Hirst brothers as a company in Union Street, Oldham. He aimed to produce a wide range of timepieces, jewellery and optical goods. The company grew as it moved into the twentieth century, expending into Manchester and Birmingham. In 1912 the Limit trademark began to appear on Alfred Hirst's range of watches, meaning he had achieved one of his greatest ambitions. The watches carried Swiss movements inside British made cases. Following the First World War the company continued to grow, with a large clock factory being built in near Oldham inspired by the factories Hirst saw when visiting America. Tennis courts and a cricket field were installed at the factory with Limit's own staff cricket team becoming well known in the local leagues. The brand has continued to develop over the years with a Centenary Collection being released in 2012. It is now over 100 years after the first Limit watches were released, but the brand is still going strong sticking to its principles of elegance, quality and tradition.

Elegance, Quality and Tradition

Limit watches may be affordable, but even the most affordable watch brand cannot be successful for over 100 years if they don't produce timepieces of high quality. Limit produce watches which look great and are built to last such as the Limit Mens Pilot Black Strap Creamdial and the Limit Mens Stainless Steel White Dial . Built on over 100 years of tradition, Limit watches are high quality and they look great. If you want an affordable watch without compromising on quality then Limit will certainly have something for you!
