The Sinn 857 watches are a family of pilot’s watches that have been precisely engineered to be functional and reliable for use in aviation. Each watch in the collection has been designed with the traditional Sinn cockpit navigation clock in mind, giving them a classic, vintage look. Sinn has created cockpit clocks since the brand was founded, giving them over 60 years of experience in building them. The brand has brought the cockpit clock into the modern day by launching the 857 collection that brings all of the functionality of a cockpit navigation clock to the wristwatch. Sinn is known for pushing their watches to the limits, and this collection is no exception having been designed to be dependable even in adverse circumstances.
Core Features of the Sinn 857 Collection:
- The watches of the 857 collection are designed to be functional instrument watches that are reminiscent of the tradition of Sinn’s cockpit navigation clocks.
- All of the watches feature a captive pilot’s bezel with minute ratcheting. The bezel is treated with TEGIMENT Technology and is made of a black, anodised aluminium ring with silver labelling. It features a luminous triangular key mark and cannot be moved unintentionally.
- The dial of each 857 watch is protected by scratch-resistant sapphire glass that has been treated to be anti-reflective on both sides.
- Sinn’s Ar-Dehumidifying Technology enhances the functional reliability of each watch and ensures reduction of fogging.
- Every 857 watch has Magnetic Field Protection of up to 80,000 A/m.
- The watches are water-resistant and pressure-resistant up to 20 bar, meeting the technical requirements for waterproofness, as set out in standard DIN 8310. The water-resistance is furthered by the screw-fastened nickel-free case back and screwable crown. The watches are also resistant to low pressure.
- Each 857 watch has a case diameter of 43mm, a band lug width of 22mm, and a case thickness of 12mm. They each weigh 90 grams without a strap.

- This model features a case made from bead-blasted stainless-steel that has been treated with TEGIMENT Technology.
- The matte black dial features a date aperture at 4 o’clock.
- This watch is powered by an SW 300-1 self-winding mechanism. It uses 25 bearing jewels and 28,800 semi-oscillations per hour to power the watch. It also features a seconds stop function and is anti-magnetic as per DIN 8309.
- The dial features baton indices with Arabic indices at 3, 6, 9, and 12. Indices mark the hours and minutes for optimal timekeeping.
- The numbers, indices, and hour and minute hands are coated with luminescent colour.
- This model is finished with a black cowhide leather strap that is integrated into the case. The strap has white contrast stitching and fastens with a pin buckle.

Delivery & Returns
In addition to our 30 day returns policy, all items purchased from 1st October 2026 can now be returned until 15th January 2027, terms apply.
We aim for you to be absolutely delighted with your purchase and therefore offer you 30 days to change your mind on your purchase. You may do this by using the form provided with your order or otherwise. We will provide a refund of all payment received (not including delivery upgrades), usually within 2 working days of receiving your return (it may take a little longer during busy periods or for more complex returns). This will be made to the original payment method. For most payment methods it will take 3-5 working days for this to show on your statement.
Please ensure items from your order are suitable before wearing as we are unable to accept items which have been worn under our returns policy.
Returns are free on all UK orders. For orders under £500, you may generate a free tracked and insured returns label on the Royal Mail website (opens in a new window). You can print this label and send it back at any local Post Office at no cost to yourself. It is also possible to have the label printed at Post Office using the QR code from the confirmation email. Please retain the proof of postage receipt. Unfortunately we are unable to refund return postage for orders under £500 sent back by other methods, so we recommend printing the free postage label provided. For orders from £500 to £2,500, the Royal Mail label does not cover the value of the item, so please send it back by Royal Mail Special Delivery, insured for its full value, and we will reimburse the postage separately (please keep your proof of postage — full details are on your receipt), or contact us and we can arrange a collection. For orders over £2,500, please contact us and we will arrange the return for you. For international returns, you will need to bear the cost of returns postage. Please ensure the watch is returned to us in an unworn, new condition with all the original packaging (manufacturer's manual and guarantee if applicable). Please ensure items from your order are suitable before wearing as we are unable to accept items which have been worn under our returns policy. We reserve the right to make deductions for unnecessary damage caused to the product by yourself.
For UK orders we are also able to offer an exchange to a different product if required, please specify this when returning your product. For international orders, please return the item for a refund and place a new order for the product you would like.
If a fault develops with a watch that is outside of the 30 day returns period or is no longer in a new condition the watch can be returned to the manufacturer under the terms of the guarantee (we are an official UK dealer for all brands on our website) so that they can rectify any issues.
